Clariant LSM, a major pharmaceutical company, has been a client since 1963, representing over 47 years of partnership in construction projects and long-term maintenance. Carson-Mitchell acted as design build contractor and construction manager on a six year, $40 million capital expansion. Completed in 1995, this project involved 10 new buildings (including a $7.5 million building and process facility to be completed in seven months), extensive parking, storm water, and environmental construction. This project had to be integrated within the client’s daily operations, requiring close coordination, scheduling and construction management. Clariant continues to retain Carson-Mitchell under a long-term maintenance contract.
