Who We Are
Carson-Mitchell has been a consistent innovator, being the first
contractor to own our own cranes, pump concrete on high-rise
construction, use a helicopter for equipment installation, and use
CAD in the Southwest Missouri area. We are unsurpassed in our
equipment resources, owning six cranes including a 210-ton hydraulic
crane - one of the largest of its type in the state. With our
extensive resources, we maintain ultimate quality control and are
unparalleled in cost-effectively meeting demanding schedules.

Our financial resources are equally strong, a reflection of being in
business since 1946 without a change in ownership. We have a long
established relationship with our bonding company and banks,
enabling us to provide highly reliable and stable service to our
clients. We have been members of the Associated General Contractors
of America (AGC) since 1950, with our vice president serving as a
board member and past president of the Kansas City chapter and
presently serving on national committees.

As well as being primarily a general contractor, Carson-Mitchell,
Inc. is also registered as an engineering corporation.
Carson-Mitchell provides valuable expertise in not only building
services, but also in civil and structural engineering. We have
extensive experience in unusual structures for our industrial
clients.
Carson-Mitchell's experience, strengths, and innovation provide our
clients with the highest level of comprehensive service available.
We pride ourselves on a long heritage of realizing our vision
through setting goals and making them happen.
